The Human Resources department, managed by Kerry Chan, provides top-level human resource services to architecture and engineering firms. Benefits Administration – Our staff will make sure the benefits a company offers its employees are current and compliant. With the current changes due to the health care reform, our HR professionals will make sure that a company has access to the best health care options at the most affordable prices.
Employee Relations – Our HR department will make your search for qualified new employees a smoother process with recruitment assistance, logging of resumes, pre-screening of job applicants and new hire orientations. If you need to bring in employees from out of the country, we will assist with H1-B and other employment visa petitions. Furthermore, HR will handle the processing of leaves of absence, separations, as well as conduct exit interviews. In addition, HR handles employee verifications, keeps all personnel records and responds to inquiries on the company’s behalf.
Worker’s Compensation – Worker’s compensation procedures are regulated and often complicated. Our certified HR professionals will make sure your firm abides by worker’s comp regulations and will manage claims if the need arises.
401K plan Administration – Our team will ensure compliance with IRS rules and regulations and handle dissemination of any pertinent 401K related information. We will also handle 401K account changes by participants and serve as a liaison for 401K plan providers.
